1st partnership meeting (Poland), Dec 6th - 10th, 2014
Our first meeting took place in Dobków. It was a chance for all of us to get to know each other, our villages, and to experience polish traditions connected to Christmas and winter time.
What happened in Dobków?
First arrived the Czech team, which could help a little bit in preparation of traditional ginerbreads baked by ladies from Dobków.
Galician team arrived late at night, but already in the morning we could start to get to know each other: names, professions and very important.. shoe size :)
After lunch we had walk through Dobków, together with our youngest participants..
We visited view point, from which you can see beautiful countryside of Kaczawskie mountaines, which is one of highlights of the village. We have seen as well result of one of first projects organized by people from Dobków: bus stops from fairly tales.
On our way we visited as well community place, which in the future will be a training and educational centre of the Sudecki region.
First common afternoon we spent in ceramic workshop: Galeria pod Aniołem, which is a part of Ekomuzeum, common initiative of inhabitants of the village.
After ceramic workshop we had a chance to make traditional polish sauer cabbage.
We finished the day playing games from childchood :)
What followed the next day was presentation of our villages. First was presentation of Fontao, Galician partner:

In the afternoon we helped to organise together with inhabitants of Dobków intercultural Christmas afternoon. We made it more colorfull with galician traditional music..
.. we have learnt how to make decoration for the christmas tree..
.. we shared some of our traditional christmas food.. and listened to traditional polish songs..
.. Czech team tried to play galician musical instruments.. and people of all age from Dobków join us playing music and having good time together..
We finished the day with traditional galician Queimada and with planning our future meetings..
Next day we started with planning our local activities..
And we finished with common singing and playing music..
